Amanda Carver, M.Ed, CCC, RP
Registered Psychotherapist – registered with Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) for Indigenous clients.
Life can be overwhelming. We feel like we can’t keep up to life’s demands. We struggle to cope. While these are normal human reactions to busy lives and stress, we often go through this silently and alone.
Since 2009, I have been joining with individuals on their personal journeys. It’s been my honour to walk with my clients, supporting them while they overcome their personal obstacles and listening while helping to devise individual coping strategies and skills.
I believe in whole person health and that mental wellness comes from looking after the person as a whole, including mind, body, professional life, and personal relationships.
Because I believe that each person with whom I connect is a unique person, I tailor my approach and strategies to each of my clients based on their individual challenges and strengths. Particularly strategies may borrow from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, and Mindfulness.
