Children’s Food Sensitivities – Food Allergy Test
Could your child’s diet be aggravating their health?
Hidden food sensitivities could be affecting your child‘s mood, behaviour or health. Sometimes a seemingly healthy food can lead to a sensitivity or allergic reaction that can lead to inflammation, which can affect a multitude of health dimensions in a child. It may not be severe or immediate, as say a peanut allergy, but there can be non-life-threatening low-grade sensitivities that can affect a child’s day-to-day functioning.
The IgG Food Sensitivity Test looks at a different type of allergic reaction from the conventional skin prick test; is more comprehensive; and requires just a few drops of blood.
The standard 96-food IgG sensitivity test costs $295. The 96-food panel consists of 96 of the most commonly eaten foods in North America.
The expanded 184-food panel IgG sensitivity test costs $395. This includes the standard 96-food panel as well as foods found in various ethnic cuisines becoming popular in North America.
Additional allergen panels can also be added to the test, including airborne allergens and herbs/spices, for an extra cost.
Turnaround time for test results is 14 business days.
