Alex Angle, RMT
Registered Massage Therapist
I am a graduate of Sutherland Chan’s School and Teaching Clinic, and a member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapist of Ontario (CMTO). My goal as a healthcare professional is to treat any complaint or impairment you may have and to encourage a greater sense of body awareness to help prevent the recurrence of the issue in the future.
I use a variety of techniques in my practice which include General Swedish Techniques, joint play, myofascial release, deep tissue treatments, and muscle energy techniques. I also challenge my clients with self-care and hydrotherapy, and to become more aware of how they use their bodies on a daily basis.
My philosophy is that I believe people need to be more involved in their own health and wellness.
We live in a society that believes a lot in band-aid solutions and quick fixes, but it is important to remember that we have one body, and the choices we make everyday will determine how long, and how well that body will work.
My practice, Local Fix Clinic, embodies this philosophy and is trying to shift people’s perceptions of massage therapy from not just a relaxation treatment that makes us feel good, but a treatment for the whole person, including the mind and the body.
Please note that first time clients are required to fill out a Massage Intake form which will be emailed prior to their massage. Please allow for a few extra minutes to fill this out and to discuss your massage therapy goals. This will allow us to create a better treatment plan for you and use our time more efficiently.
My hours of availability for massage therapy at Zentai are as follows:
Tuesday to Friday: 10am – 7pm
Saturday: 10am – 3pm
Schedules and availability may change so please contact me by email to book an appointment.

Massage Therapy involves the direct manipulation of soft tissue, joints and the humoral system of the body. Where most people see massage as only a vehicle for relaxation, its scope is greater than that and it can affect many physiological changes within the body to restore balance, both physically and emotionally. It is proven that massage therapy can be a great ally in a person’s health care regimen and can help a person to achieve the following results:
Remember to check with your health benefits plan to see if massage therapy is covered. Receipts can be used to claim full or partial reimbursement depending on your plan.
